Ive honestly had the best luck with something called 'Macgo' Windows Blu-ray player, it plays everything Ive thrown at. Note: The original MPC-HC was abandoned by developers in 2017 but this version carries on the legacy. For media files, I use MPC-HC by clsid2 (I know there various branches of MPC-HC, several which are dead now, but this branch is still regularly updated). I have made these operations to play my purchased Bluray diskcs (Full HD discs only) in MPC-HC (64-Bit version). Install all software (MPC-HC, MadVR codecs and LAV Filters) - preferably install them into a single folder, so as not to loose track of them.
